Equipment Guide

Uniforms:

Each North Newark player is provided with a hat and a jersey as part of their registration fee. Please note that North Newark REQUIRES white pants be worn at all levels. Belt and sock colors are generally selected by the team coach. 

All other equipment including glove, bat, helmet, and cleats are the responsibility of each player. While North Newark does have a very limited number of items available for loan for the season, players should provide their own equipment if able. Dick's Sporting Goods generously provides North Newark a discount weekend, usually in March where our families can shop the store at a generous discount. Information of this weekend will be communicated when it becomes available. 

Bats:

USSSA stamped bats WILL BE ALLOWED for use during rec league play in the Majors, Minors, and Coach Pitch divisions. Players in these divisions may also continue to use USA stamped bats if they choose. Please see the images below for approved USSSA Baseball stickers:



All bats used for regular season play at North Newark in the T-Ball division MUST have a USA Bat stamp. NO OTHER BATS ARE APPROVED FOR USE DURING REC LEAGUE PLAY IN THIS DIVISION! Please see the images below for approved USA Baseball stickers:
