North Newark Little League
North Newark Little League is a 501c3 non profit organization that was founded in 1954 as Newark Township Little League. We are a non affiliated league that offers children ages 4-13 in the Central Ohio area baseball programming from T-ball through Varsity. We serve approximately 500 players in our spring season and approximately 300 in our fall season. We also offer our players the opportunity to play on our end of season All-star teams as well as the option to tryout for our select teams, the North Newark Naturals. More information regarding our recreational leagues as well as our select program can be found in the parent information section of our website.
Our Mission
The purpose of North Newark Little League is to provide area youth with a safe and fun environment to learn and play. Our league provides children the opportunity to develop sportsmanship, discipline, teamwork, and physical well-being through the game of baseball. Our programs are designed to help develop superior citizens rather than superior athletes.
Derek Holland
North Newark Little League is the proud Little League home of Major League Baseball pitcher Derek Holland. North Newark is proud to call Derek an alumni and we are thankful for his many contributions and his generous donations to North Newark. You can read more about Derek here.
